This is really a story about a man name George. George was a-could be successful manufacture. By could be I’m meaning something was missing. Not that George did not have ambition; he was blessed with the gift of ten men’s ambition. But that something that was missing it was passion. That divine purpose that only God can give. Little did George know, but his life was going to change forever. You see George has never loved. His childhood was a nightmare story. His life one of contemptibility and rebellion.
George now was filling up at a gas station, that one of his friends owned. When all of a sudden another regular customer of George’s friend pulled up. It was the most beautiful girl George has ever seen, Pam. Now when George looked into Pam’s eyes the power of Jesus Christ himself filled Georges soul. It was years later when George actually figured out what happened. George’s spirit was so filled with the spirit that he spent the next three days waiting for Pam to come again. Well she did, and in time they would start a journey together.
Now George was swimming in a life of sin. He was sinking so deep that it appeared there was no hope of rising again. But through the eyes of another Jesus reached into George’s soul and pulled him from the depths of sin. Everything happened so fast. The next thing he new he was selling and giving everything away. He now knows when you follow Christ you put no faith into worldly things. George did just that, from the heart he gave up all importance to worldly things. He was so in-love with Pam and God. Were talking he had so much passion when he woke up in the mornings he started singing zip-a-Dee-doo-da oh what a wonderful day. Though he had no money, no things, just Pam, God and a peace in his heart he never felt. It all happened so fast that George in time would ruin that too.
They went off on a journey; they both wanted a better life. The best that George could figure is that the spirit of God was so strong that Pam fed off it too. Though she was feeding off this awesome power. She was wise for a young girl. There was a decade difference in there age. Emotionally she was the mature one of the two though. The two of them ended up in George’s least likely place. But all things happen for a reason. George is currently searching for his reasons. They started a new life; George never knew such happiness and love. But a tragedy happened; George lost sight of Gods plan. He went back to his ways of sin. This went on for many years, things were decaying and George never even realized through the sin he was living. George became fixated on earthly things again. Though he went through the motions, he lost his walk with Christ.
Then a miracle of God again happened in George’s life, though it took time for George to realize it too. George had an accident on the job. He went into a coma for almost 6 months. His wife moved on, thinking he would never come back. But it was her chance, he chance to escape. George had forgotten what was important in his life. She felt unfulfilled and empty. She felt he was trying to be controlling when he was really grasping to get back what they had lost. When George came back, he was alone. Pam made that separation of the heart years ago. George was devastated; it took weeks and weeks for George to put everything together. He was so ashamed, of the life he built. You see with out Christ there is no foundation to love, and all hope was lost in George. They fought back and forth mainly about worldly things. You know money, kids just stuff. But during one of their battles Gods amazing reach flooded Georges heart once again. George became clear again on what was truly important. Poor George found himself in a pitiful mess. That moment he submitted everything with his heart. Again Gods grace freed him.
Now I am not going to tell you it is easy for George. But he has learned things beyond this world. He knows what unconditional love is now. He knows that only through the grace of God dose he have hope. He still loves his ex-wife and is consumed with the love he lost. He cries when he thinks of days that she was close. Pam wants nothing to do with George. Pam has her ideas on how George should live his life. But George is so empty that he is lost. Here is another miracle George has hope, again. Though he is empty inside his eyes are on God again. He has put in hundreds of applications all around the world to serve. George don’t care where, he is searching to be needed. He has the burning desire to share this love that eats him from the inside out. He has no clue where or what he is going to do. But for the first time he has hope and is trusting in Gods will in his life. Now several of his hundreds of applications are interested. George prays constantly now, that God directs his paths. Though George’s life is dead, he finds life in the hope of Christ. When he talks, he has a passion that is not of this earth. When people see him, they would never know that he has so much pain in his heart. Just life Christ’s love for us, you see Jesus love you whether or not you love him. And it pains Jesus, to know that someone dose not love him, when he has so much love for them. George has that same love for his family. It dose-not matter they don’t want him. Because of Christ George can only love them. When George slows down which is not to often, he cries to God for forgiveness for what ever he has done to Pam to make her cut him off cold. You see George has not figured that out yet, and maybe never will. Pam says she loves George, but has nothing to do with him. I am proud of George he still loves her anyway. His prayers always start with praying for happiness and peace for Pam and his children. Then he prays for a direction to go, to help, to serve man. He has submitted everything to God again. This time I think he is going to follow his heart. I cannot see George ever going back to his old sin. He is so aware of what it really was now, Christ. I hope that George finds the peace his soul is searching for. But he knows that God himself reached down from heaven and pulled him out of the oceans of sin, that he was sinking in. He knows that his physical and spiritual existence depend on it. He is willing to help anyone, do anything and give everything. If you ask George why he dose it, he will tell you it is not him, it is Jesus. He will tell you he is not strong enough to do those things, only through Christ can he achieve it. I pray that George never forgets what is important again. That is God and love, true love. A love that nothing else matters, love just because that is all you can do. And the path that God gives us is of righteousness, not by our doings. But by doing Gods will in our life. By the grace and blood of our precious savior Jesus Christ
