God made all
the earth perfect – then made man to live here.
Genesis 1:26 –
"Let us make a man"…….so,
LOVE IS
CREATIVE
When Adam and
Eve disobeyed God’s standards,
He had to
Discipline them
Genesis 3:23 –
Banished from the Garden, so….
LOVE IS
CORRECTION
God made a
provision for a way back to Him again –
Genesis 3:15 –
The promise of a Savior, so….
LOVE IS
CONCERN
Throughout the
Bible, God keeps His promises –
Romans 3:4 –
God’s words will always prove true, so…
LOVE IS
CONFIDENCE
God gives us a
framework to live within –
Psalm 119:165
– Those who love your laws, have great peace
of heart and
mind and do not stumble.
LOVE IS
CERTAINTY
(Webster:
Certainty-"A faith or belief so strong that it resists all attack")
When we love
His laws and live within them, we will
have the peace
He promises.
God listens
and answers when we seek Him –
Psalm 138:16 –
"When I pray, You answer me, and encourage
me, by giving
me the strength I need."
LOVE IS
COMMUNICATION
God gave the
very best He had for us –
John 3:16 –
"For God so loved the world…that He gave…."
LOVE IS CHRIST
Christ shows
us the way in God –
John 14:6 – "I
am the way, the truth and the life, no one can
come to the
Father except through Me."
LOVE IS
CONSISTENT
Christ is
Faithful –
John 10:28 –
"I give them eternal life and they shall never perish…
no one shall
snatch them away from Me."
LOVE IS
CONSTANT
Christ helps
us to be happy in all things –
Philippians
4:11 – "For I have learned to be content
whatever the
circumstances."
LOVE IS
CONTENT
Christ brings
joy and meaning to our life -
1 John 5:12 -
"Whoever has the Son, has life."
LOVE IS
COMPLETE
Now we "C"
what love is:

CREATIVE
CORRECTIVE
CONCERNED &
CONFIDENT
CERTAIN
It
COMMUNICATES
Love is CHRIST
Through Him we
learn that love is:
CONSISTENT &
CONSTANT
It brings
CONTENTMENT
And makes life
COMPLETE
1 John 4:10
"We see now
what REAL LOVE is –
Not our love
for God,
But – His love
for us.
When He sent
His Son."
