Winning hearts and minds.

Here’s the problem, we give all this money to all these countries (governments).

What do you think they do with this money, you don’t think they use it to feed the people do you.  Maybe you think their building schools and hospitals, buying medicines.

Well let me tell you their not.  Their buying tanks, planes, guns and grenades, missile launchers, rockets and radars.  Do you even think the average citizen of the average country has the slightest idea that we try to support them.  And if they do realize it what do you think they think of the idea that the United States gives their government money to buy and build armies and military might.  Do you believe this benefits the normal world citizen?  If their government terrorizes them who do you think they blame, us the good old U.S. of A.

Here’s how it works, it’s relatively simple.  Lets think about this for a minute, how would someone win your heart and mind.  Dose the idea of someone arming an oppressive force against you build trust and understanding.  If you really want to win the hearts and minds of a people help the people.  If they’re hungry give them food.  Pay the farmers the billions of dollar to grow food instead of conservation money not to grow food, (because we have to much).  And well your feeding them maybe you can build enough trust to move forward.  Then you teach them how to grow their own food.  If their sick teach them how to be doctors and nurses.  Teach them to build sewer systems and show them how to process their water.  Teach them land management and show them compassion and love.  Help them to help themselves and at the same time helping our own people.  And to seal the deal you do it in the name of Christ.
